Although it is an independent country with a Prince, license plates and passports, Liechtenstein shares the Swiss postal and customs systems and the protection of its army, as well as the Swiss franc.

Located on the border with Austria, this tiny country of 25,000 inhabitants is, for many people, the Switzerland of Switzerland. It has decided to do away with all the unnecessary manufacturing industries you find in Switzerland. Here, many people work either in financial services or have Treuhandbüros (fiduciaries) to register letterbox companies. And they make a nice living out of it too, as there is more than one registered company here for each inhabitant.
