Summer School
Summer school is offered annually to students who want to:
- take a course that doesn’t fit in their timetables during the school year
- understand high school learning and expectations
- take Math 15 to prepare for Math 10C
- do not prefer the traditional physical education setting
- have a flexible learning schedule to accommodate athletics,
arts, or travel commitments.

How Summer School Works

Summer school is fully online | Mornings - Coursework on Moodle Afternoons- individual/small group sessions | In-person drop-in sessions are offered at the Foothills Composite High School in Okotoks for local students | Class is daily – Monday to Friday | Between class time and independent coursework, students will work 5 hours a day |
Setting up students for success
Students will require:
A reliable internet connection.
A computer capable of accessing the internet (laptop or desktop)
A web camera and microphone (your computer may already have this built-in)
A quiet space to work
