Dear Turner Valley School Families,

A few notes for you:

First Days of School

Friday, August 29th: As part of our efforts to ensure a smooth transition for your child into the upcoming school year, we will be holding a Transition Day. This day is designed to provide an opportunity for families to meet individually with their child's teacher in a one-on-one setting. Meetings will be held by appointment, allowing time to discuss your child's learning needs, and any helpful background information that will support your child. To book an appointment, please contact your child's teacher or the main office.

Tuesday, September 2nd: We are excited to welcome all students in Grades 1-6 back to school.

Thursday, September 4th: We look forward to welcoming our newest learners to school! Kindergarten students will begin their staggered entry on Thursday, Sept. 4th. This gradual start helps ensure a smooth and comfortable transition as your child becomes familiar with the classroom, routines and school environment. Please check your email for the scheduled time and details for this day.

2025 - 2026 School Supplies

For the upcoming school year, families will be responsible for purchasing school supplies for students in Grades 1-6. Please see the supply lists below.

Kindergarten supplies will be provided by the school. A fee for these supplies will be added to your account on the Edsembli Family Portal in September.

Office Hours:

The school office will open starting Friday, August 22nd at 8 am.

Please note the school is closed Thursday, August 28^th at noon as all FSD staff are meeting for opening day.
